Next to casual day at work, the only other time I turn into a Tasmanian devil on my closet is the dreaded house party/gathering. No one wants to be the person that is too dressed up, or so dressed down people wonder did you just roll off the couch and come. I mean you have to be so comfortable that you can play games, carry on fun conversation, but dressed so appropriately folks are thinking hmm, that’s cute.
So when I was asked to go to a girlfriend’s birthday gathering at her house, after thinking woohoo I’m ready to kick some tail in Taboo, I screamed silently cause I knew my room would look like a hurricane ran thru it. After deciding that I was definitely wearing pants, I had to tackle what kind of shirt. I could just do a t-shirt, with some cute little design on it; I could do a shirt/blazer combo. I finally settled on an off the shoulder shirt that I got from Forever21 sometime last year. I love their plus line and my online shopping cart is always full, until I go back and myself take out the stuff I really don’t need lol
Along with my off the shoulder shirt, I put on my Ashley Stewart jeans. Just the right amount of stretch to them (added a belt since they tend to slide down). Threw on my grew flat boots from DOTS and I figured I was pretty ready to kick some Taboo tail
Got to the party and felt like I fit in with the rest of the folks and laughed to myself when I encounter some folks who were slightly over dressed lol
What do you think?

Glad I’m not the only one who struggles with the don’t-waste-a-bomb-outfit-for-a-house-party but don’t look like a bum neither PROCESS, lol. I love the ‘fit but I loveS me some Taboo too
