I hear it’s a long time coming, seriously.. I always here “so when are you going to do a post on shoeacidal” and it wasn’t until this weekend when cleaning out our closets to get hardwoods in our bedroom that I realized that I’m kinda obsessed with shoes myself.
Now, I’m not going to sit up here and lie and act like I know everything about shoes. I’m not going to talk down on people who wear one brand over another, that’s not my style. My style is my style. I really do wear what I want to wear.
As of late, I’ve been on a sperry kick. Not too sure why, but I tried on a pair and I liked how they felt. Then I proceeded to buy every color I could find… yup, I’m that guy.
I have these in all colors you can think of:

This is my summer time shoe and I pair it with various color chino’s, pants or shorts. if I wear chino pants I’m cuffing them and wearing them with no socks. First rule of boat shoes, never wear boat shoes and socks. I pair them with a polo or long sleeve t-shirt.
I’m very simple and I realized that despite being from “the hood” I have gravitated to a preppy look over the years.
To give visual of how I rocked these here is ShoeHotline and I below
What are your thoughts on men and boat shoes? All thoughts and comments welcome…

Congratulations cousin…first step is admission. haha!
As a man, I’m all for the sperry boat shoe as well. Of course it’s a seasonal fit but definitely grown man appropriate. Any man that can floss a shoe with no socks is confidant in his hygiene and manhood. It’s a comfortable fit and a perfect date night shoe to cruise the beach or a hand to hand stroll in the park. I digs this shoe fa sho.
