The Video
By week #2 of the contest I finally had my concept. So I wrote the script, emailed it to the cast members, and set the date for production all in 2 hours time span. Of course as the video shoot neared I begin to feel sick to my stomach, and get super nervous. Thinking ish like: what the heck am I doing? Sheena seriously a Youtube video? Are you sure you want to do this?…Crazy. Once my phone rang on the night of the shoot, I knew I had to let my nerves go because it was time.
Shooting this video was hard work. I was so exhausted afterwards I didn’t even watch the footage. Much to my surprise the hubby begin to review and edit the video without me. He stayed up to 3 am putting his final touches on it, and woke me up to watch it. Talk about being HYPE, and after seeing his hard work so was I. Brown_Beauty08, I’m with your “friend in your head” CurlyNikki on your house. My exact thought was: Man, her house is da BOMB!” But instead of just coming over for a house tour, can you tell me what you all do?…I think I need to go back to school so I can get my own. lol. And of course, if you are into shoes that much you should definitely join a race for a very nice pair of shoes as a gift. You answered her questions very creatively. My two fave moments in your video are 1) when your hubby says “sounds like a lot of bull crap to me” in response to why you look the exact same before he left the house after your henna treatment (which I take was your response to the question about the product her website led you to). And 2) when he asked you why do you look like a space alien, when you had the curlformers on your head, which I believe was your answer to which technique did you learn from being on CN.com. I say: “Thankfully Oprah you came, conquered and then moved aside, so CurlyNikki (and many others) can take your place in natural (and other) black women’s homes.” lol. Good Luck to you!

1st off I would like to say I LOVE your attitude… The statement about going out to get your own instead of just visiting is PRICELESS. As for my profession I am an IT Project Manager, something you wouldn’t have to necessarily go back to school for to get into the industry. But honestly I believe our great accomplishments haven’t been in how much money we make, but how well we handle our money. Keep doing the right things with your money, and learn to make it work for you, instead of against you. Honestly you will have this plus some. Thanks so much for the gracious complements on our home and the video, we truly appreciate the support.
