When buying designer shoes are you purchasing for the look or the quality?
Both! If I am spending hundreds of dollars on one pair of shoes, I am not compromising. Not for style, quality, nor comfort. For the price of designer shoes, I expect to have it all. Honestly I feel like designer shoes force you to pay for a name more than anything else. Most of the time you are getting great quality but sometimes they just throw things together or its plastic and b/c someone’s name is on it they add a $900+ price tag. No thank you!
There are wonderful shoes that are made very well with genuine leather products that do not have to cost an arm, a leg, and an elbow. Lastly, as you point out, the designer shoes aren’t beginning to standout as much as they used to. Before you could be like “oh those are the such and such” Now, its like “hey girl, are those the such and such” and She like “No, I got these from Aldo, Target, Bakers, Nine West etc…”
