OMG! What an emotionally exciting week that truly made my heart smile 
. I must admit, my week started off a bit rough as I was experiencing a bit of emotional turmoil with a personal decision that I had to make.
Then I found out that I won a pair of Christian Louboutin’s from CurlyNikki.com and my emotions did a 180 (from sad to ridiculously happy). What is it about winning a free pair of shoes that can just make you so darn happy?!?!
Enough about all that. Let’s get into the post! Below are some pictures I took during the week. My camera is always ready!
Tuesday: After reviewing the polls for the “Race to the Red Bottoms”. I decided to stop by Neiman Marcus to try on a pair of “Christian Louboutin black leather Pigelle’s” in anticipation of my victory.
I spotted these BEAUTIFUL Gucci Divas. I’m not going to lie, I dreamed about these shoes for the rest of the week! Man, if they weren’t so expensive I would have got them today. But, I guess I have to put this on Christmas list and hope Santa gets them for me.
Wednesday: I was still on cloud 9 from my victory so I didn’t make a purchase. But while I was returning a pair of not so hot tights. These yummy fall boots caught my attention.
Thursday: I received a highly anticipated call from the bestie, stating that her relocation is official. New Year, New Start and I couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with her.
I’m ecstatic her move will put us a few hours closer and I honestly couldn’t think of a more deserving person to be awarded such an opportunity.
Friday: I had the day off from my 9-5. So, I decided to treat my self to a pamper day at the spa. I ended up getting a massage, manicure, and a pedicure.
Going to the spa up is something I try to indulge in at least once a month utilizing the great deals from groupon.com. Later in the day I stopped by the hospital to visit an adorable 11/11/11 miracle (baby girl) born earlier in the day.
Lesson of the week:
No good deed goes unnoticed. The same exact day that I woke up feeling taking advantage of and the victim of someone’s greed, I won my first ever Giveaway.
Tell me this isn’t an example on how paying it forward always comes back to those with good intentions.
