As I sit and thank God for Blessing me to see another year I am beyond grateful for the past 29 years. They have truly molded me for my ultimate purpose.
Throughout my life I have often asked God why he favored me… Was it because of my kind hearted nature, my drive and determination, or maybe my life now is my reward for overcoming so many of life’s obstacles at a very young age.
In any case it has been a question that remained unanswered until January 20th 2013 at 4:35pm when I stared my greatest accomplishment in her beautiful eyes.
I knew then that she was the reason for it all. She was the reason…
- I learned to care so much
- Love so hard
- Forgive so easily
- Give everything my all
- I became tougher, brutally honest, and loyal
- But most of all remained humble
Over the past 29 years I’ve loved, loss and became more wiser. All in preparation for this amazing moment. Yeah! The moment she was born opened my eyes and showed me that this life I’m living is much GREATER than me.
So, as I sit here on my 30th birthday I thank God for Blessing me with the ultimate gift. There are no material possessions on this earth that can amount to the precious miracle bestowed upon me 6 weeks ago. I can honestly say this by far will be the BEST birthday of my life because, I get to spend it with my loving husband and lovebug Olivia Madison Brown.
