This shoe has come across my desk twice in the last 24 hours and everytime I see it I scream WHY…
So I decided to get your opinion. Do you think Jeffrey Campbell took it to far by adding that gold star? Jeffrey is known for thinking outside the box and taking ordinary designs to extraordinary but that star is a bit much for me on this heel less wedge
A classic strapped, black wedge… Removing the heel was enough to put it on the edge and, while the star’s design and placement is “out of the box,” the person who will wear this shoe and the places it’s appropriate are very limited… It’s a catch-22… Jumping out of 1 box and into another. I’d rock the hell out of it though. NYE? Bday? Night on the town…

I give it a NO! As I was scrolling down to see the rest of the shoe, I was think WTH could be wrong with an all black shoe. Then that doggone start reared its ugly little head. It totally cheapens the look. No, J, nooooo.
