This week I was interested in wearing accessories. I do not often wear elaborate jewelry to work. However, I thought my all black outfit needed a little something extra, as usual. This lovely necklace I brought from White House Black Market was perfect for today. This necklace is complete with pearls, flowers, and a bit of sparkle. The only thing I wish I could have done different was wore my hair up.
In a previous post, I spoke about earrings being too big. My opinion is this rule is universal for all accessories. An accessory being too ostentatious might be a distraction in the work place. If you decide to wear some type of jewelry, make sure it is both pleasing to the eye and not in an awkward place.
